I. Introduction: In the world there are 19 major religions (Barrett, Johnson, & Kurian, 2001) and thousands of subgroups of those religions and other minor religions. With so many religions of the world, many people wonder what makes Christianity so unique. The one thing that sets Christianity apart from all other religions is Jesus Christ. It is more than just the person Jesus; it is the personal relationship that each person has with Jesus and what he did for man. Jesus was sent by God to this earth to die for the sins of man, so they could become right with God again (Romans 4:25). Once a person has decided that Christianity is a true religion the next question becomes how do you find out more about Christ and start a relationship with him. The answer is through studying the Bible and then when ready, asking Jesus to forgive you of your sins.
II. Part 1: Bible Study

Just like other things in our life, we need to make time for it and make it a priority. I know that I don't always get uninterrupted Bible study time, so I will get into it by reading to my kids, or listen to someone else read the bible on a podcast while I am cleaning or getting ready for the day. Before I start any of it I try and remember to ask God to show me what I need to learn from the passage I am reading. I want him to bless that time and convict my heart of my short comings, so that I may repent or fix areas that don't bring him glory and honor. Then I reflect on what is revealed to me and try to work on changing it, so that I can the right relationship with God
