What is bullying?
Bullying is repeated oppression, suppression, psychological and the physical harassment by the more powerful to the less powerful. “when the victim fight and quarrel approximately with the same strength then it is not counted as bullying” Bulling happen due to the power imbalance. This is associated with the criminal violence aggressive and anti social behavior (David Ferrignton 1993:1)
Further talking on the most common definition of bullying then the definition is used by Ronald 1989, and Olweus 1991 in their Nawegrian research on 1980 . Verbal bullying: name calling , saying nasty and unpleasant word, spreading rumor.
Cyber bullying: bullying that happen generally through the electronic media , gadget(telephone , mobile phone basically android , laptop, ipad ) social networking side , like as facebook, twitter , instragram, and many more thousand of aaps which are using as basic need now days. It is the another fact with new epidemic the worst type of bullying and it can have deadly consequences. Cyber Bullying is when a person has been threatened, harassed or embarrassed by a bully using technology.
This type of bullying is when kids have been harassed and tormented, have been receiving death threats, have been receiving viruses that are infecting their computers, getting their email inboxes flooded with threatening messages, made vulnerable, humiliated and embarrassed. They have been targeted using email, texting, chat rooms, camera phones, message boards or instant messaging. Additionally, social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter or another person’s social blogs etc. are the perfect way for these bullies to remain anonymous. This type of harassment is the kind that will follow your child everywhere they
