Surface Warfare Officers (SWO) are known as the backbone of the Navy. For years I have desired to obtain this position and have done extensive research concerning the attributes and requirements. Because I believe the Navy begins in the heart as well as the head, I know that becoming a part of the Navy would be life changing. Commissioning as a SWO would allow me to make a meaningful difference, as well as gain unparalleled leadership experience.
The competitive analysis is based on two competitors that are ranked fairly high overall pet grooming. My vision for our platoon is to be the best Platoon in the 232d MED BN. This will include physical training, warrior tasks, medical sustainment and Soldier training. Team building will also be one of the most important elements for our platoon to ensure our readiness for real world and support operations for our force.
Before considering leaderships between different leaders in Band of Brothers, it’s important to note that everybody has a different way of leading and is a good leader on their own. The three people that have shown the greatest leadership in the series, “Bands of Brothers,” are Lieutenant Winters, Lieutenant Speirs, and Sergeant Lipton. Some traits that they all have in common is that they are great leaders and are willing to sacrifice themselves to save others. Additionally, their braveness helped the struggling soldiers fight through the battle field. If the three brave soldiers were to be ranked based on their leadership, Lt. Winters would be ranked first, Sgt.
Lastly, as a Warrant Officer I am expected to be the subject matter expert in my field. With no knowledge of my personality or past, Soldiers will expect me to have a high amount of knowledge on my particular field; therefore, I will need to ensure their trust in my knowledge is not wasted. The new found responsibilities that await me offer up challenging new challenges. I have always been a firm believer in the value of hard work.
