It is important for John Lewis to buy a good quality firewall ensuring it is fully updated which will reduce chance of hackers gaining access to the company staff, customer and business information. This will stop them from accessing sensitive information if they keep firewall updated to stop back holes from occurring which will make it easier for hackers to access any information. Another way it will affect the company is that a person who is not an employee in John Lewis must know that the system access is not authorised and must be warned not to try and access it. If a high level security software is not installed then more than likely hackers can easily implement a virus on John Lewis system and over the network, this will affect the companies and customer’s personal files which are stored and they could lose this forever which would put the company at risk as they could get fined for millions of pounds and create havoc. There is huge amount of sensitive information’s such as credit card, security number, passport numbers and many more stored on systems, John Lewis need to add maximum protection to their system and network to stop hackers accessing information and viruses getting in otherwise if they fail to stop it or not aware of it this could cause John Lewis company to shut

In response to the first goal: clarify and share brand awareness in NY metropolitan area (will mention in section 1.5), I would adjust the mission statement, as the mission statement is the most obvious symbol of an organization. A clear and attractive mission is even more important for CPC during rebranding period. The current mission statement of the CPC is: “Chinese-American Planning Council, Inc.’s mission is to promote social and economic empowerment of Chinese American, immigrant and low-income communities”. This mission statement focused on Chinese American, but in order to have diversity customers, recommend the CPC changes its “impact” mission statement to: Promoting opportunities for disenfranchised New Yorkers. This mission Statement

AT&T closed the deal and bought DirecTV for about $49 billion in July this year. This merger will make AT&T the country’s largest pay TV provider, with more than 26 million subscribers. Why did AT&T agree to pay this whopping price to acquire DirecTV? The answer to this question lies in the problem AT&T was facing with the rising competition from other wireless companies and losing money to cable companies providing phone services. With the fast growing streaming and wireless technologies, more and more cable and satellite service providers want to control content and delivery.
