There are so many aspects of a school to consider such as the environment, the teachers and staff, the children, the philosophy, and the community. As parents, you want to pick the perfect facility. Additionally, the faction is individuals were appointed to be on a healthcare board with no medical background. The board consisted of successful business people that lacked or failed to enforce business processes, marketing and operational knowledge. Another challenge people in leadership positions did not care if the work was performed. However, leaders on the board nor leaders connected to the organizations refused to participate with enforcing employees to follow policies set forth. These companies conducted several mergers and each entity are connected with the board fail to deliver positive results in any capacity.
TriState dairies has hired me as the new chief ethics officer, I was hired to established the ethical guidelines and social activities. The CEO wants to give a financial donation to a worthy cause. Although this is a great idea and will benefit the company because the community will see that TriStates cares about the community. This is not the only way that the company can do some good at a lower cost, we can also go organic which is healthier for our customers and the environment. Going organic will help TriState with their cost because we can grow our own organic ingredients, that we know will be safe from all the harmful chemicals.
Core Values and Ethical Principles The six core values recognized by the NASW Code of Ethics are: service, social justice, dignity and worth of person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence (NASW, 2008). These values are defined and expanded upon, and are then listed as ethical principles. Several of these principles apply to this case.
My thoughts about the Jean Cleary Act is that this law allows students to stay safe and knowledgeable about crimes in the area. Also, the law helps to keep the community safe. The Jean Cleary Act is related to the Talladega College Student Code of Conduct because the act has a policy that doesn’t allow disorderly behavior around the campus. Another reason Jean Clearly Act is related Code of conduct is that the act reports any threats, harass and injures. Since I already know about Cleary Act Policy, I want to know is the Act helping the students making the right decision.
When reading the IAMFC Code of Ethics and AAMFT Code of Ethics I found that they compare significantly, much more than they contrast. Many of the principals coincide. For example, the topic of multiple relationships is one of the many principles that parallel in many codes of ethics. The IAMFC Code of Ethics encourages family counselors to “avoid whenever possible multiple relationships, such as business, social, or sexual contacts with any current clients or family members” (Section A). Similarly, the AAMFT Code of Ethics also requires that therapists “make every effort to avoid conditions and multiple relationships with clients that could impair professional judgment or increase the risk of exploitation.
The Code shifts to a strong principle-based approach while stating virtues in which employees are expected to follow. One provision details, “We are prepared to make the tough decisions or take the critical actions, and do it right,” establishing that there is an expectation that, “We all have a duty to understand and abide by the principles and guidelines outlined…” this suggests duty-based behavior to be placed on the guiding principles established by York County. There are various individual virtues mentioned throughout the Code of Conduct but in the format of principles intended for employees to reference. The final provision ensures that the principles displayed in the Code of Conduct are to be used for the benefit of “The County’s long-term interests, and the interests of everyone who has a stake in our County’s success, depend on our total commitment to doing business with integrity.” This demonstrates the integration of principles, virtue, and consequence in order to accomplish
Showing leniency to one employee while throwing the book at another is a primary example of not following ethical guidelines. Treating the people with respect and keeping them equal when it comes to punishments in essential to being a manager. Every move that an organization makes determines the future of where they are headed and the support of shareholders, consumers, and investors. Constellation’s practices relating to management both ethically and mission
I am very proud to be a Pashtun but sometimes I think our code of conduct has a lot to answer for, particularly where the treatment of women is concerned. A woman named Shahida who worked for us and had three small daughters, told me that when she was only ten years old her father had sold her to an old man who already had a wife but wanted a younger one. When girls disappeared it was not always because they had been married off. There was a beautiful fifteen-year-old girl called Seema.
It is a requirement that should be followed without paying much attention to profit acquisition. Quality products must reflect health standards and guidelines. With such aspects observed, authorities are not going to investigate the organization for any fraudulent dealings. The health and perception of customers in the market are essential.
Planning is transforming socially, but to achieve change it has to bring together, politicians, planners, and residents (Sandercock, 2004). Citizen’s opinions and rights should be taken into consideration. It is the number one rule in the planning process for participants. It says, “recognize the rights of citizens to participate in planning decisions” (Ethical, n.d.). Cities cannot progress unless they change their ways of doing things.
The seven core values of the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct are different kind of commitments that we have to follow in order to be in a field of any early childhood care and education. The seven values are: Appreciate childhood as a unique and valuable stage of the human life cycle. , Base our work on knowledge of how children develop and learn. , Appreciate and support the bond between the child and family, recognize that children are best understood and supported in the context of family, culture, community and society. , Respect the dignity, work and uniqueness of each individual., Respect diversity in children, families ,and colleagues., And finally, Recognize that children and adults achieve their full potential in the context of relationships that are based on trust and respect.
In case you are not aware of, a diverse consumer market of more than 550 million people live in Latin America! These people, we call Latinos, live, work and spend money, just south of the U.S. Border! However, I am not talking about Mexico, although is included, but there are many other countries, territories, islands and protectorates in the Latin American Region that await for your business.
Must employees will notice, criticized, or even emulated the moral failures of their leaders. If we look at our world history, it is filled with examples of how competent leaders have failed from ancient times to modern times. Periodically, we read about unethical behavior in some type of media outlet. Which often corrupts the public’s trust in the leader’s company or agency, then it brings the individual leader into question.
