Verizon sounds like a great company to work for since they have excellent company values and culture. I did some additional research beyond the articles and read some reviews of previous employees who worked for Verizon or currently work with them. All the reviews were five-stars and said positive things about the company. I feel that it is important for a company to have good values and culture so an employee can blend into the workforce and feel comfortable working instead of making it stressful and uncomfortable. So, after reviewing their values and culture, I would definitely work for Verizon.

According to the article, How Verizon's new 'unlimited' plan compares to the competition, Verizon has multiple competitors which include T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint for their wireless department and their competitors for their residential department include Comcast, Dish, and AT&T. Verizon Wireless was a bit behind the game until recently they announced their unlimited data plan which most other carriers already had into effect. This will step up their game since they have the best network compared to any other carrier but it used to turn people away due to having limited data but not anymore. Every carrier introduces new plans and pricing every other month and Verizon has to quickly change their plans and prices too in order to keep up with the market. By the time Verizon changes their plans to compete with the other carrier’s plans, they have already lost some of their subscribers. I recommend Verizon to start changing their plans first in order to compete with the other carriers instead of waiting for other carriers to reduce their price
