Basic Theory of Darwin
Charles Darwin was known as an English naturalist who studied variation of animals and plants during a five-year voyage around the world in the nineteenth century. Evolutionary ideas came to prominence, when Charles Darwin explained his ideas on evolution in a book called, On the Origin of Species, published in 1859 (1).
Darwin's ideas caused a lot of controversy, and this continues today, because they can be seen as conflicting with religious views about the creation of the world and the creatures in it. The basic idea behind the theory of evolution is that all the different species have evolved from simple life forms. Meaning that all life is related has descended from a common ancestor. For example, the animals, the fruits, the fishes and the flowers are all related. This is why the evolution controversy is arousing so much concern as well as interest among different sections of society.

Non-scientist people, especially the religious ones who are opposed to the evolutionary theory because it undermines their religious belief (2). Some of the scientific community believe that evolutionary theory still can be accepted with a slight modification and adjustment in the Darwinian framework, and others that the extent of flaws in the Darwinian theory is too enormous to be corrected. Towards the end of the twentieth century this concept has generated more controversy and argument.
Although the concept of evolution no longer holds as much authority or importance as it used to before, it is still the dominant world view of modern science and much of what constitutes modern
