I am extremely excited to submit my application for the Director of High School Placement and Alumni position with Equitas Academy Charter School. I am confident that my passion, research and analytical skills, and ability to develop relationships make me the ideal candidate for this position. Passionate. As a first-generation college and advanced degree graduate, I understand the importance of a high quality education. I am a passionate advocate for students in underserved communities reaching their full academic and personal potential. My passion was first ignited by my volunteer work at a drop-in center in college and experience as a Program Leader for THINK Together. Through my diverse work history, I have worked one-on-one with retail customers, clients facing difficult legal situations, students and their families, and private school administrators. At CKW School Uniforms, I work closely with private school admission administrators to coordinate uniform fittings and sales. Through this relationship I have gained an insight to the admissions process and necessary requirements applying to a private school. Additionally, I work directly with the families applying to these schools and have come to understand the challenges and excitement of the application process. I am confident my development of various professional relationships will allow me to excel at this position by continuing my relationship with the current school administrators in a different capacity and developing new relationships with other school administrators, the students, their families, and
