Introduction
Being a child care specialist entails being patient and being able to handle children. The reason i chose this career was because I like working with kids. My career goals is to succeed as a childcare specialist.
Career-related information Child care specialist have to have education, training and experience in order to be a child care specialist. The Bureau of Labor Statistics documents that “a high school diploma, but many states do not have any education requirements” (“Childcare Workers.”). Becoming a child care specialist education is most often not a requirement depending on the state. Which is a good thing because you can easily start off in this career field. Background checks are necessary to see if you have any criminal records or how you were at your previous work environment. It's just one more step of a process of getting hired as a childcare specialist. Training hours are varying ”childcare centers to complete a minimum number of hours of training annually.”(“Childcare Workers.”). Training hours are based on how many hours you went in for the day or how you get paid. There can be different types of work environment for child care. The Bureau of Labor Statistics documents that“childcare centers, preschools, public schools, and private homes.”(“Childcare Workers.”). Childcare work environment can be very different it can be a house, a building, or a school as long as you meant the requirements it ask for. It would be more
