Childhood obesity is an immense struggle many Americans are facing, and it has reached many children in staggering proportions. The uprise of fast food chains and the evolving lifestyle has induced childhood obesity to be a prominent issue in our society. A few decades ago, childhood obesity was not as prevalent as it it is today.Before fathers were the predominant breadwinners in a family,and now the number of working mothers has increased. This recent change in the society, has caused children to receive less nutritious meals. Parents are stressed from work and could provide only a meager time in preparing meals for children and themselves. They compensate meals with frozen food products and take out orders from restaurants.
