Childhood obesity is a problem that is a growing issue around the world . Obese children are more likely to obtain symptoms of cardiovascular diseases, like high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Obese adolescents are more prone to have prediabetes ,bone or joint problems,sleep apnea and social and psychological problems such as stigmatization and poor self esteem. Proximately %17 (12.7 million) children and adolescents aged 2-19 are obese in the United States. Between children and adolescents who are obese in the present day.Obesity is causing a extensive range of health problems that were never noticed until the ages of adulthood. Such as type 2 diabetes,high blood cholesterol levels,stroke and several types of cancers and osteoarthritis.

When children take in more calories than their body is able to eliminate throughout the day, the result of this is weight gain in the child's body. There are many aspects to why there is a growing imbalance between calories that are consumed and released by the body. One may be that the family is busy and there is less time for them to cook. Another aspect to this is that today the access to fast food restaurants is very easy. People no longer have to go out of there homes and but there meals, ordering food can now be done through electronic devices. Children and adolescents consume large amounts of sugar in artificially sweetened drinks and other sweets in concealed ways. All of these calories are consumed into the body and are not eliminated by the body.Due to the fact that Children and adolescents are not spending enough time outdoors or participating in physical activities.They are rather indoors on electronic devices which not only decrease the efficiency of their eyesight,it also creates a lack of vitamin D in the
