Providing a better environment for our future generation
As our society modernize it is facing new challenges that are forcing us to reorient our policies towards the vulnerable section of our society such as women and children who are susceptible to violence. In multiple studies conducted by reputed institutions, it is revealed that violence against women and children have several common strands running through them. So it is important to club violence against both of them together to understand the problem more comprehensively and then find out the solution that will deal with in a holistic manner.
The reason behind so many cases of childhood violence coming up recently can be attributed to several factors, including better reporting, declining social values, crumbling family structure and even increasing tension that may lead to domestic violence that may include a child as well. It is important that there is a greater realization about cases of child abuse in our society and we educate the masses about the potentially devastating effect prolonged physical and mental abuse can cause to the personality of a child.
