In this job experience, I have learned how to develop routines, organize activities, and prepare meals. I was employed in this job for four years and retired because I decide to focus on my first year of college. I have not only had experience with children by working but also by participating as a volunteer in some of my community’s organizations. I have served as a volunteer in Henry F. Kammann Elementary School for five years. During these years I have had a closer experience with children who are enrolled in school.
I want to enroll in Pre-AP English because I think it could help me in several of ways. This can help attain my goals because it helps me receive a higher gpa. I plan to contribute to Maricopa High School community by joining student council, if I join student council I would be involved in more things and can help at any events, I am committed to go above and beyond and I am self-motivated to do anything necessary. Skills that I have that are essential for advanced placement include someone who will try their best every day, someone who will go above and beyond in completing their assignments and are respectful and responsible.
I am aware that there is a big difference between working with adults and working with children and this is a real challenge for me. I love challenges and feel very excited about this. Working with adults will give me a possibility to develop a valuable relationship with my students. I will be also able to give them an access to an incredible tool - a new language. I will also have an opportunity to learn from them - as each human being is a different story that influences their environment and the people they meet.
I learn that it is most important to focus on children when in the classroom. I relax in my work by clean up in this class. Always be available to support children and maintain an overview of what is happening throughout the program. I’m aware that I can’t leave children unsupervised and can be somewhere that have one of the teacher staff can supervise me and the group. I show initiative to assist the teacher and children during activities or transitions.
Eagerness to learn, attention to details, and willingness to put in required effort and time, all qualities I wish to continue to practice as a student in AP English 12. As a student of organization and willingness to participate in classroom discussions and interactions, I believe those attributes of me as a student set me up for success in this class. My enthusiasm in learning has been a leading factor in my decision to apply for this rigorous course my senior year. While there are other options available this is the course best suited for me due to my attention to details and readiness to dedicate time and effort into this class. As an AP English student I am mainly interested in continuing to practice and develop reading and writing skills
I have worked under many capacities: teaching in-services to new and current teachers, providing in-services to the administrative team, and mentoring new administrative interns and at-risk students. I pride myself in creating a classroom environment that provides a high level of structure and a high level of rigor for any
Candidate Personal Statement: Why do you want to be a part of student government? I want to be a part of student government because I want to further serve my community within Flushing High School as well as support people I hold dear within the school. If I were elected to student government, I would want to unite the community as well as succeed in performing my leadership duties within the student community. I believe my previous experience in Bring Change to Mind (BC2M), Peer Group Connections (PGC), as well as my Sisters Keeper (MSK), has properly prepared me for this position as they have helped me build leadership skills such as the public speaking and a keen sense of corporation in group settings. These three services have prioritized giving back to the community and further supporting Flushing High School.
There are many different things that can impact students in their high school years. Whether these things are friends, activities, or the sports they participate in they all impact the student. Many opportunities are presented to students in high school, although not many impacts the student beyond high school, I believe this opportunity will impact me forever. I would love to be a part of the Early College Program this coming spring. I believe the program will do nothing but help me grow and strive to be a better student and continue being involved.
I am a Grade Eleven student at St. Peter’s C.S.S in Barrie. I am very interested in the Precision Metal Cutting Apprenticeship program being offered through the partnership of the MAC and OYAP. My goal has always been to further my education and enter the workforce as a skilled tradesperson. This program could help me achieve my goal. I have completed grades nine and ten Manufacturing Technology and am currently enrolled in the grade eleven Manufacturing Engineering Technology course.
Personal Statement I come from a large family with relatives from a little ranch in Chihuahua, Mexico. Many of which have never made it past grade school. Mainly due to their mother, my grandma, she had fallen very ill. Due to her condition and lack of money my aunts and uncles dropped out of school to work and help pay for her medication and medical expenses. The older siblings had to take care of the younger siblings.
Ever since I was an infant, I have held a special interest in music. This love for music has strengthened over the years; and in sixth grade, it became plain to me that I would be a musician. However, I have always held somewhat of an affinity for writing. I am the second child of two, but my sister is twenty-five years older than I, and I was raised as an only child would be. Despite this, I never felt lonely, as my father worked at home
This job really taught me about the importance of children having a routine to follow as well as the impact teachers can have on a child’s life. After my first year in college, I realized that I wanted to gain more experience with children of all ages. Shortly after,
The more I don’t know, the more I know. The more I realize I don’t understand, the more I discover my desire to know more about psychology. My interest in educational psychology was triggered by my first experience in changing schools.
I started doing my field Experience in Lime Kiln Elementary school where I shadowed Mr. Mikalov, a fifth grade teacher, When I first walked into his classroom it was so colorful and full of artworks, student works and inspirational quotes I felt happy walking into his classroom so I would imagine what a fifth grader would feel like. Mr.Mikalov was very generous in showing me around the classroom where they have their group work, reading area on the rug. He showed me the schedule they follow every week, they do math every day from 12:13 to 12:55 and have lunch every day at 11:26- 12:08 and off course I took a picture of it to know when and what they are doing that time. Mr.Mikalov introduced me to the principal who is very nice and welcomed
