Due to the fact that he was my practice Mackleer, Jakob partner, he knew my move sets and all of my set ups for them. This preposed the biggest challenge of wrestling your own teammate, but I had to think outside of the box and use moves that I had not perfected. This took him by surprise and ended up winning me the match and giving me the top spot at 145 lb. Then next weekend we had a team match, which was a team that we already lost to, we ended up winning by one match, my match that he lost before. This kept happening throughout the rest of the season and the team ended up going to the state tournament, this was the first time in 10 years that as a team we were able to compete.
