Climate Change Is Real BUT Who's the Blame?

Climate change is the change in weather over a period of 30 years. Climate change is caused by many factors. Although 90% of scientist have agreed that it is happening there are still many perspectives on how climate has sparked this change. Scientist argues that it is a human cause and others argue that it is caused by nature. Facts show that climate change is happening and is human caused and the opposing perspective, that it is happening but has nothing to do with humans.

Scientist first started to realize that a number of atmospheric gases have been increasing drastically since the 1760's. During that time the Industrial Revolution was taking place. The revolution started when there was …show more content…

As the scientists met up they came to a conclusion that 95 percent of the climate getting warmer is caused by human activity. Human activity that causes certain gases in the atmosphere to increase and block heat from leaving Earth. The gases that help assist climate change are carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. Carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere by humans burning fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. Humans use fossil fuels for transportation, electricity, heat, medicine, cosmetics, and much more. Humans have increased the CO2 concentration in various ways. Methane increases in the atmosphere from waste being dumped in landfills and agriculture. Agriculture involves raising livestock. Livestock produces amounts of CH4 naturally through their digestive process. Although it may seem as though it is natural it is caused by humans. Humans raise the animals to produce more food and many other things such as manure. Manure is used to increase methane so that it can then produce energy. Nitrous oxide is emitted into the atmosphere when the soil is being cultivated, use of commercial and organic fertilizers, and fossil fuels. As the climate gets warmer permafrost thaws and higher amounts of nitrous oxide are being released. Nitrous oxide in the atmosphere destroys the ozone layer and increase the temperature. Humans are the cause of all the gases increasing. Nitrous oxide, methane, and carbon dioxide increase due to common human activity;
