Many of us feel sad, moody or low from time to time. Some people experience these feelings intensely for long periods of time, without any apparent reason. Depression is more than just a low mood – it’s a serious condition that has an impact on both physical and mental. The reason may seem obvious. It can be a disappointment, frustration, losing something or someone important. Sometimes it isn’t clear why we feel depressed. In a recent study, depression has become a kind of invisible epidemic, afflicting approximately 121 million people worldwide. The World Health Organization ranks depression as one of the world’s most disabling diseases, and our best estimates from population studies show that approximately twenty percent of people will experience a serious, clinical depression during the course of their lifetime. (M.D., Deepak Chopra) . Most people with depression are treated by their family doctor depending on your symptoms, the severity of the depression and circumstances. In my opinion, Exercise is the best all natural treatment to fight depression. A review from Harvard University that looked at multiple studies stretching back to 1981 found that regular exercise can improve mood in people with mild to moderate depression, and it can play a supporting role in people with severe …show more content…

It is best that a regular exercise with the help of family and friend can help a person to let free of depression. Unlike to the other ways of healing depression like the antidepressants that comes with a low to greater side effects in which a person’s perspective to others like their family and friends will not be the same.
