Initially, codecs have helped us with multiple technological solutions for difficulties that humans were faced with years ago. Although they have had a positive impact on our lives and have helped our lives become much easier, there is also a negative perspective regarding the development of codecs and the effects and impacts they have on our future.

As convenient as all this may be, there is a negative side to it. The use of this technology results in people being physically antisocial. It limits the social interaction between individuals.
Another negative aspect about it is that this technology has created a platform for bullying – Cyber bullying, and scams. It is a known fact that a lot of bullying takes place on social media. Teenagers use Facebook, Twitter and other social networks to make others feel inferior.
