We live in a world where media dominates the cultural views of the average consumer. With the advancement of technology growing at a rapid pace, it was inevitable that media would have significant impacts in all our lives. What I love about the media industry is the vast sectors that covers an array of different platforms to suits almost any specific person from journalism to advertisement as well as television and film. In my mind, I had no doubt that media would be the course that I want to do at university.
I believe that although the media industry is very difficult to get involved with as well as being very competitive, it is a field I do thrive in due to the driving passion I have for the subject. With new ideas and technology that continue to develop and improve not just the world of media but also the way we live in general and I want to be a part of that development where I get the chance to learn and grow along with it. As a person who relishes any opportunity to prove myself, I believe that my innovative thinking will come as a significant asset that will be beneficial for practical work if I am accepted to join your university.
