High School is on the way. I am expecting the classes to be 10 times harder than they are now in middle school. I am taking two courses of rigor next year: Biology and Spanish 3. Regular High School classes are already hard, so I do expect to be doing three to four hours of homework each night. I do know that I am taking on a lot and trying new things, but I do believe that I can do it. If I really do dedicate the perfect amount of time doing my homework, I can get straight A's and be the perfect student I can be. I have a 4 year plan that tells me what classes I plan to take for the next 4 years, and if I pass all of my classes with all A’s, then I will graduate High School with an Honors Diploma. I plan to play sports for all 3 seasons for all 4 years, and I am very athletically involved. I plan to do girls Cross Country and make it to the European Championships every year. Every year I also want to play Varsity basketball every year, even my Freshman year. Soccer wise, it’s the same as basketball: make Varsity team every year including my Freshman year. I want to be known for the athletic, straight A student in Lakenheath High School. When people say my name in that school, that’s what I want people to think of: A straight A student, the Freshman who made Varsity for all the sports teams, and a generally nice person to be around. I am scared of the social stuff in High School. Will I fit in? Will I be too much of a nerd, or will I be too dumb? I am just very nervous because I want High School to be the best 4 years of my life. I don’t want to be the one person who gets bullied all the time. I am also scared about getting mixed up with drugs and illegal things. I am the last person who would get mixed up in those things. I am just scared about my friends doing those things because I won’t be friends with them anymore, and I don’t like not being friends with people. I am also excited about many things like the athletics and the making of new friends, and just feel like an older pre-adult. I can’t wait for High School.
