My Academics at Oberlin:
I am attracted to Oberlin as it has a strong Mathematical Economics Concentration program. At Oberlin, I am considering to explore the intersections of Economics and Mathematics. That said, the classes I am going to take will not be limited to only these areas. In addition to economics and programming, I would like to explore other subjects as well. I don’t want to lose sight of all the other things that will make me a well-rounded individual. Oberlin’s liberal arts education offers a rich and balanced curriculum in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. It perfectly fit with my interest.

By the time I graduate from Oberlin, I will have a deep understanding on the workings of the economy, as well as a strong technical training.
My Contributions to Oberlin:
Besides living in Indonesia, I have been traveling around the main cities of ASEAN countries. Every experience I've had in Indonesia or abroad has shown me a wide range of people, opinions, experiences, and realities. Once I attend Oberlin, I will relate these experiences to the principles of economics courses so that I can contribute my views from these perspectives.
At Oberlin, I will try new things such as Anime Club, Student Finance and Investment Club, Earth First and Environmental Sustainability to gain experiences of something different from what I used to do. Among these things, I am excited about getting involved in the Earth First and Environmental Sustainability as I would like to get involved in an effort to make Earth a better place to live.
My life after Oberlin:
While the Indonesian economy can now be regarded as stable, I foresee various signs of pressure. This is due primarily to the fact that for years, most of the country’s economic growth has been focused on and provided by a few industries such as oil and gas, and
