My passion for music was first cultivated through my love of performing. Now, I have realized that my interests lie in studying Suzuki Violin Pedagogy. There are many reasons why I want to study music and why I believe that I would make a great asset to the University of Denver. Music has brought many challenges and wonderful opportunities my way. These challenges have made me grow into a better musician by providing me with many goals I have to reach. The greatest thing that I have gained from these challenges is a determination and motivation to never give up. Throughout my musical career, one of my biggest challenges is my depression. I have been working with depression most of my life, and it requires me to take a long look at my personal and musical life every once and awhile. I want to figure out how to turn my illness into my ally. One opportunity was being a part of the Festival Suoni d'Abruzzo for two years. I was one of the first few to have participated in Festival Suoni d'Abruzzo the very first year in 2015. In 2017 I was the Social Media Executive Assistant to Festival Suoni d'Abruzzo and got to work closely with my fabulous friend and Director of Festival Suoni d'Abruzzo Ms. Rossana Cauti. We performed classical and contemporary works such as Symphonies, operas, chamber music, and Concerti. We also performed music from other musical genres such as Jazz, Rock, and Tango. I played with students from every corner of Europe, Russia, and the USA. I gained an appreciation for music on a global scale and learned from some amazing teachers.
