The College Kick off for the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology was an awesome experience ! There were many things learned while attending that Kick-Off and also a lot of opportunities to get involved in! This essay will answer the following questions associated towards the event: What are the clubs, learning communities or professional organizations specific to your program? How likely are you to join one of these organizations? Which one interests you the most, why? What is the name of at least one faculty member whom you met who teaches in your program? What about this faculty member appealed to you? How do you plan to get involved and take advantage of what the college has to offer while you are at GCU?
To answer the first question, Health Sciences, Engineering and Technology day is going to be specific towards my program and will be very beneficial with the information they will be giving us and the hands on stuff as well. It gives us the chance to: Hear from different speakers working in all types of STEM fields, Attend interactive presentations and live demonstrations, Tour GCU's science labs, human anatomy labs, and Nursing labs. I found him very fascinating and his credentials are very good! In 1996 he got a Doctor of Philosophy in Agronomy from Kansas State University which is very impressive ! and also, in 1989 he attained a Master of Science of Agronomy from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I also found his professional affiliations very impressive how he was affiliated with Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, and American Society of Botanical Artist. I just really found his credential very fascinating and impressive and I want mine to look like that in the
