Question 2 A standard is created and intended to help the teachers know what they want students to learn. In the early 2000s, the standards lacked standardization and the CCSS was developed in 2009. The expectations for the students were more organized and developed. There is more focus on fractions to enhance the student’s skills and help them master the material than before. NBT is Number & Operations in Base Ten. Question 4 In the eighth grade, students should be able to reason and formulate regarding expressions and equations. They should be understanding the concept of functions in order to describe quantitative relationships. The domains are “ratios and proportional relationships, the number system, expressions and equations, statistics and probability and geometry” (CCSS, 2018). In the sixth grade, students are expected to connect the ration and rate of a number to multiplication and division.
