Puff by puff and blow by blow, here’s a closer look at some of the key differences between two of today’s most talked about drugs. It is powdered in a white substance and some of the ways in which people absorb it is inhalation through the nose which is also considered snorting. Many people do not say weed is as bad as cocaine. People who dis weed have probably never even tried the drug before. It is not as bad as everyone seems to say it is. They may have never tried cocaine either but it is worse than weed. In my eyes weed should not even be close to a schedule 1 drug. There are some states that have legalized weed such as Oregon and Colorado. This proves the point in weed is not as bad as cocaine because cocaine is not legal anywhere. The DEA considers marijuana to have serious abuse potential and no medicinal benefits, while cocaine has medicinal benefits with less potential for abuse and side effects. Although cocaine has been used as a anesthetic drug for nasal and oral surgeries for years, several other safer, effective and non-addictive alternatives are available. Cocaine is an illicit drug, and it is one of the most abused drugs in the world. Unlike cannabis, cocaine use can cause several medium to serious health problems such as high blood pressure, abnormal body temperature that messes with heart functions, arrhythmia, impaired cognitive ability, emotional issues, damage of brain’s reward pathways, and even death. I feel like if people want to be using the drug it is their choice. The way I think it would be okay to have it legal is if people are staying at home doing it just chilling. Now when people are out doing it in clubs and parties then they decide to drive and make dumb mistakes is where it becomes a problem. Some people are saying the money it brings is amazing. Where is all the money going though? It is not being used as people say it is. It is not going into the roads the bridges or anything like that. Colorado has made a couple more schools but their roads are still bad as stated by the Colorado police we talked to on our trip to Denver. Some people are totally against marijuana and I do not think they have tried it and know the actual effects it
