South Piedmont Community College Where to go and what to see, but most importantly how to get there. All students are faced with the decision of college. More importantly they are faced with financial insecurities, loans, debt, and a degree they may or may not use by the time they get finished with it all. Universities may look and sound nice at first, however community college provides a better future for students who need to get on their feet.
A university is the big, 4-year, go to institution, college football type place that everyone knows. What most people do not know is the silent little community college is sneaking up behind them. Which some define as parties, friends, football games, or living alone finally. Well these things can also be accomplished at community college(Community College). Partying is already a bit immature but it is totally possible during those two years, just at someone’s house instead of dorm. Community college also has its cliques, friend circles, and events for people to come together and make friends, and most people make a friend in at least each class. It also has recreation sports teams, obviously not as cool as Alabama football but they offer a large variety of sports, some community colleges even have a gym and sports fields for their students. Last thing is that because of all the money people save from going to community college, students can finally live alone, or save money by just a couple more years with their parents but have a bit more freedom. These “college experiences” help students gain the freedom they want and the opportunities they thought they missed out on by not going to a
