Jediism Have you ever felt or wondered if there was actually more than there already is out in space? Do you like or have even seen a Star Wars movie? Believe it or not, there is in fact a religion that you might not knew existed that follows the way of the Jedi. This religion believes and follows everything that has to do with the famous movie Star Wars but more specifically, the Jedi’s. The good sides defenders, and the people that have mastered the force (the ability to move objects with their minds) are known as Jedi’s and over 70,000 people follow this religion, and that religion is called Jediism. Here people dedicate their lives to the study and ways of the Jedi in order to master the force. It isn’t until you master the force that you become a Jedi, and it can take years. There are many different stories about how people dedicating their lives to Jediism and the Force. These people explain the beliefs including the Jedi Code in which they have to follow. In Star Wars, there is the Dark Side (the villains) and the Jedi’s (the good guys and the defenders of the force). The Jedi must follow the 16 teachings, in which they must follow in order to become a Jedi. They have a doctrine that is supposed to provide them a basic structure and if people were to disagree, it was okay. Believe or not, Jediism has its own church and in this church, they must make an oath and show that they believe in the force.
