Though they take place in different places, many similarities are seen when comparing Cool Hand Luke with Cuckoo’s Nest. This is seen when Both Mcmurphy and Luke get looked up to by their peers, when Luke and Mcmurphy are in confined space, controlled by a leader, and when they eventually rise up and go against the rulers! First I will talk about how Mcmurphy and Luke are the same.
All three of the stories start with the hero in the ordinary world. For the most part the ordinary world in all of the stories is a setting the hero is unpleased with. Katniss does not like the scarcity of food in her district, Ender gets bullied for being so smart, and Luke wants to leave the farm he lives on. All of them are not anyone you would expect to be involved in anything important. The call to adventure in all the stories are relatively similar.
The War of the Worlds Book vs Movie The War of the Worlds movie was more interesting than the book because it had more action in it. You could see what was happening if the Russians did come to attack us. In the movie you can see the alien and you can see the cylinder. In the movie, it had more action in it. In the movie and in the book they did wave the white flag to be friends and also show that they want peace.

There are reasons within the Refusal , Crossing the Threshold, and the Mentor /Helper sections show various examples. Within these, Ender’s Game can also be alike and different in the way the events of the Hero’s Journey are unfolded in this novel.
Stars Wars are Antigone are timeless pieces of creative art that will continue to be loved for centuries to come. In both stories you follow a noble protagonist. Even in works as far apart in time as they are, you can still find some striking similarities. In both stories the protagonists face a moral dilemma. Antigone wished to bury her brother but the king deemed it to be illegal.
When Martians attack, what will humans most likely do or what will these Martians act like? How will they attack? Will humans even survive? The authors of “Zero Hour” and War of the Worlds-- Ray Bradbury and H.G. Wells-- have shown their own versions, or scenarios of how they think Martian invasions will go down. Both stories contain characters that try to survive.
There are numerous of contrasts and comparisons that is throughout the stories “Zero Hour” and The War of the Worlds. Both stories’ events and characters are vaguely similar, but also somewhat different. The two stories slightly have the same effect but the characters tend to take care of the situations uniquely. In “Zero Hour” the character Mink was practically mesmerised by Martians just so that can take over Earth.
Lucas new exactly what he wanted when he wrote the original Star Wars, but the technology available at the time was still terribly inadequate and just couldn’t produce the challenging visuals he envisioned. The main goal in this movie is to get BB-8 to the Resistance because he has part of the map to Luke Skywalker, they want to find Luke and destroy The First Order. The First Order is also after the map, they want to destroy Luke because he is the last Jedi.

The films of War of the Worlds were originally based on the H.G. Wells novel, The Martian, and were recreated into a movie twice in completely different eras. Both of the films greatly impacted peoples’ anxieties for traumatic experiences that the US was going through at the time of the films. The animation is very exaggerated and the characters are seen as laughing hysterically, which adds a comedic effect. Allowing these scenes to be done in animation allows the characters to do what the real-life actor’s couldn't. The killing scenes were very graphic. Having scenes of O-Ren’s background is important because she was one of the main perpetrators in the massacre, and the flashbacks allow the viewer to develop an insight of the character.
