Romeo + Juliet The movie is based on the famous play of Shakespeare. The plot of the movie is about the two families Montague and Capulet, who fight all the time, but a person from each family falls in love with each other. In the start of the movie, Romeo is in love with Rosalina, but when he joins his friends on crashing the party to the Capulet family he meets Juliet. When their eyes met they both fell in love. Juliet and Romeo sneaks into the lift and there they kiss. When they reach the top of the lift, the doors open and the nurse pulls Juliet out of the lift and reveals for her that Romeo is a Montague. Romeo is a poetic and is obsessed with every women he falls in love with. In the start of the movie he loved another girl and couldn’t stop think about that her, but as soon he meets Juliet, he forgets the other girl and can’t think about other things than her. So when she died he couldn't live with the pain and killed himself. Juliet is a sweet girl who really doesn't fit in with her family, they are rich and want her to be good and gracious. But in reality she does whatever she wants, and you can see that she doesn't have a good relationship with either her mother or father. So when she met Romeo it was kind of a rescue, and she could finally be free with someone. Father Lawrence is a nice priest who feels guilt for Romeo, and that’s why he helps him so much. He also tried to do the best for everyone and tried to end the war between the two families. Romeo was acted by Leonardo DiCaprio, who acted the role very good and with lots of emotion. Juliet is acted by Claire Danes, and gave the character the sweetness and loving side. Pete Postlethwaite acted as the role of Father Lawrence, and acted the role he played just as the character he is in the
