Similar to Romeo and Juliet, Rewrite The Stars commences with assessing how two lovers handle their relationships, and comes full circle as the two lovers realize they’re, “hands are tied” ( Efron and Zendaya 1). The realization that nothing can be done is found in the song and Romeo and Juliet and, which is also the reason Romeo and Juliet to take their lives. Additionally, Juliet and Zendaya’s persona are very similar in the sense that both are very cautious and careful of their love, contrary to the men. Moreover, the basis of Romeo and Juliet’s love is established on the foundation of destiny. Given the audience knows the future of Romeo and Juliet, the whole play is an example of dramatic irony, which adds more suspense to this plot.

Numerous stories today tell the inspiring stories of people by many authors; however, I feel The Odyssey and Romeo and Juliet both portray similar themes in the context of the story. Later in the play Tybalt's recklessness reaches its peak when he challenges Romeo to a fight on the streets of Verona. Romeo, who has just married Juliet, is refusing to fight and tries to de-escalate the situation by saying, "I do protest I never injured thee, But love thee better than thou canst devise, Till thou shalt know the reason of my love" (Rom 3.1.64-66). Tybalt hates Romeo with his whole heart and does not care about the consequences that will happen by doing so. The novel “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare is a play that tells a tale of a tragic love that continuously utilizes those events for the creation of the film “The Titanic”. “Romeo and Juliet” is a play that tells the story of two people that could not live their love due to their parents, so it ends on a tragedy. Romeo and Juliet could not be together because they have an existing dispute among the Montagues and Capulets. “The Titanic” is a movie that narrates the love story of Jack and Rose on a ship. On the course of the movie, their love was completely forbidden by Rose’s family because they were from different classes.
Romeo and Juliet was a tragic play about two star crossed lovers who are indirectly murdered by Juliet’s cousin Tybalt. It was not the stars who killed Romeo and Juliet, it was Tybalt. There are three main reasons Tybalt is accused of killing Romeo and Juliet: he was a violent person, he killed Mercutio, and Tybalt wanted to keep the feud going. Tybalt was a violent person who kept the Capulet, Montague feud going separating Romeo and Juliet.
Firstly, Tybalt is a hot-headed character who is quick to react with violence. In the play, he is the one who starts the fight with Romeo and his friends, which ultimately leads to the banishment of Romeo. If Tybalt had not started the fight, Romeo would not have been banished, and he would not have felt the need to take drastic measures to be with Juliet. Secondly, Tybalt's actions lead to a chain of events that ultimately result in the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet.
This turns out to be a fight that Tybalt would start and Romeo would finish. If Tybalt didn’t want to die, why would he send a message for a duel? A fight all started with a grudge that should never have happened. None of the other Capulets cared that Romeo was at the party, but Tybalt did. He wanted to fight, and Romeo didn’t.
He recognises Romeo in the Capulets party and says, ‘’he by his voice should be a Montague, fetch me my rapier boy’’. His words suggest, that he is quick in identifying his opposition and will not stay back from acting against them. He makes abrupt decisions that could have disastrous end. Tybalt’s immediate response to Romeo’s presence in the party was to start a fight and that suggests that he is rushed without thinking of the outcome of his actions. Romeo’s existence is taken as an insult by Tybalt, and as usual he is driven into thinking that it’s his responsibility to defend his and the Capulet’s honour.
Romeo was still very angry with Tybalt for killing his cousin. Romeo wanted to go see Juliet but no one would let her so he was starting to get suspicious. A little after that he heard that Juliet is getting an arranged marriage with someone named Paris so Romeo thought that Juliet has gotten over him.
