The main way I would help Troy School District achieve the above mission would be to focus on learning more than focusing on teaching. As a teacher/educator I pledge to ensure the success of each student by helping them achieve at their individual highest level. I believe in instilling a passion for lifetime learning into my students. One way I instill this passion is by being a model lifetime learner for my students. I clearly state the learning and behavioral expectations for my class and I uphold them. Most importantly I make sure to create each lesson to meet the individual needs of every student, so that everyone is learning. For instance, when working on math I create a math warm up that caters to all of the needs of my students. One math worksheet will have images of coins and they have to count the coins and write the answer or use a number stamp to stamp the answer. Then they will have to skip count by 1’s writing themselves, circling the answer, or using a number stamp. Another worksheet will have images of coins that need to be counted by their monetary value. Then they will be asked to skip count by 5’s or 10’s or both. This worksheet will include simple addition and subtraction with numbers up to 10. The students can use a number line, calculators, or counting blocks to find their answers. A final worksheet will include
