Abortion; "the process the removal of an embryo or fetus from the uterus in order to end a pregnancy” (Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary, 2014). Some individuals are for abortion, while others are against it. Abortion is one of the many controversial arguments in the world. It has been legalized since 1973 in the United States with the decision of Roe v. Wade, in which the Supreme Court decided that it is constitutionally protected right, which is agreeable to a certain extent.

Not only that, some give their child away because they cannot think of raising a child on their own. Teenagers who get pregnant are sometimes forced to make a critical decision. They give up their child because they do not want their parents finding out, they do not want to get into any trouble, their parents want them to get rid of the baby to get an education, not being financially stable, or they might not even have a financial status depending on how old they are when they get pregnant. They are recommended to talk to their physician to make sure that them getting an abortion is what they are willing to go through with. Before the surgery, the females are asked again if they are sure they want to go through with it. If she had to keep the baby because she was not allowed, due to it not being “right,” she would not be in an okay mind set and honestly it is her body her choice. Should someone keep and live with something they do not want, whether it be for the right decisions or not, point is they do not want it and they are the ones that will be dealing with it. Abortion may not be ideal for everyone, but it is something that should be looked at in certain situations. Abortion is okay for certain situations that are presented in a woman’s life. Women should have the choice, it is their body. That is a lot better than not having a choice at all. If someone is kept from doing something they want and feel strongly about it they will do it anyways or find a way.
