Most respectfully Sir, I have been fired from the position of copy editor in this news agency .I was fired from this position due the budget cut of 2014.I have been working in this news agency for 6 years. I started as a junior reporter. Gradually I made it up through the ranks and became copy editor. I worked very hard for this agency. During my tenure as the editor this agency became the most respected harbinger of news in the whole city. Now that I have been fired from this position, it is astonishing that from the two copy editors in this agency, I was the one that was fired and the rookie that just joined 6 months ago was kept. I am currently one of the most highly educated employees in this agency. My seniors and juniors respect me and I try to do the same. Without me you would lose a very able and professional editor whose material is respected throughout the news world. If you release me from this job. I will suffer from financial problems. I will not be able to pay my daily expenses and as a result I might lose my home and you are aware how hard it is to make ends meet in this economy. This job is the only reason I can stay in this city, which I dearly love. You are aware that how hard the job of a copy editor is. We do the last analysis before an article is printed so, if an article has some objectionable material we are the ones on whom the blame falls upon. This single characteristic of this job is why most people are not able to do it. And with all due respect you should keep in mind that I was the one who single handedly saved you from the scandal this agency faced in 2009.The one thing you can be sure of that with me as the copy editor of this agency is that you would never have to double check the work I
