The presupposition that corporate sponsorship for school sports is beneficial is a categorical truth. Although some detractors may believe schools should be free of advertisements and corporate influence, these critics are too dogmatic in their provincial ideology. Their idealism simply isn’t practical for schools that don’t have a heavy endowment. As long as corporate influence doesn’t interfere with the education of students or the content of their education, corporate partnerships should be encouraged. Three prominent archetypes that exemplify how corporate sponsorship can benefit schools are that draw more attention to athletes, keep athletes safer, give money to underfunded programs.
Schools with corporate sponsorship are able to highlight their athletic prowess. They are able to use this funding from advertisements, to buy better equipment in order to put their athletes out there and connect them with organizations or colleges.
