Immigration has been a topic that has been debated for decades. There are many costs and benefits to the idea of immigration. Over time the United States has been known as the nation of immigrants, implying that people from all across the world are welcomed. However, there are costs and benefits that come with that. They also claim that illegal immigrants pay taxes but don’t use public services in the fear of deportation. This claim can be questioned due to the reason that there is no evidence regarding whether or not illegal immigrants pay taxes such as income tax.
