I have recently completed my undergraduate studies in criminal justice and I was one of the best students in my class. My concrete action all through my undergraduate studies was to prove the doctrine that nearly 100% of a person’s success is attributed to their diligence. At the onset of my undergraduate studies I made a resolve to make use of the educational resources that were available in school so as to improve my knowledge on criminal justice. Throughout my stay in school I performed well in my academics and I also got involved in a number of cocurricular studies thus making myself an all rounded student.

There have been widespread perceptions that degrees in criminal justice are not as lucrative as other common undergraduate degrees. However, it is not true that these degrees are worthless. Degrees in criminal justice are desirable when they are coupled with quality programs and reputable institutions.
The reason where there is so much negativity regarding studies in criminal justice is probably because there are not many reputable schools that teach the profession, Most of the learning institutions that have deep budgets for advertisements have contributed in tainting the image of the industry. The students who attend these schools on do so as conformation to the drive-thru effect meaning that they eventually become ill equipped professionals who do not fit in the job market.
Pursuing an MBA in criminal justice will help me improve on the knowledge that I attained in the field when I pursued my undergraduate studies. I will therefore be better equipped to fit in the profession. Pursuing a Masters degree in criminal justice will broaden my perspective on correctional facilities and I will be able to understand better how these facilities are run. I will also know how to best treat those who are considered as law breakers, not to mention that I
