The company that I am doing is CVS Health. I chose CVS Health because it is the seventh company in the Fortune 500 list. It is also a widely known company and is the most widely used pharmaceutical company in the US. CVS Health is in the Drug Retail Industry. Major competitors of CVS Health are Humana Inc, Walgreens, and Pharmerica Corporation. The headquarters of CVS Health is located in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. CVS Health is the parent organization of CVS Pharmacy. CVS Health has 158,000 employees and is a Market Intermediary. Some products that they have are Cleaning Products, Cosmetics, Health & Medicine, Personal Care products, and Home Health Care.

Planet in Balance stands for CVS Health’s goal of trying to make sure that all beauty and other cosmetic products are safe for all consumers and that they are coming from responsible sources. Health in Action stands for CVS Health’s goal to provide healthier products in their stores. CVS was the first retailer to make its stores tobacco-free. In the New York Times Business Newspaper an article called Drugstore Chain Seeks to Redefine itself as Health Care Destination for consumers, which was published in 2014 states that, “They have also provided urgent care for veterans, and they invested 50 million dollars in a five year program to make a tobacco-free generation by advocating the issue, enforcing tobacco control, and providing education on the topic.
