Social Media Marketing As social media usage continues to explode more businesses are utilizing social media websites to engage with customers and prospects. Facebook is the largest and most popular social media platform. Instead of marketers having to wait for the next Super Bowl to reach only 108 million viewers, they have access to 665 million Facebook users daily (Zelaya, 2013). As a result, more companies understand the impact of social media and implementing social media marketing plans. This document will examine and expand on DavidsTea’s social media marketing plan. DavidsTea Social Media Marketing Plan An effective social media marketing plan allows businesses to interact with consumers, build brand awareness, reinforce brand messaging, and provide targeted offerings, influence customer opinions and behavior, and service customers more efficiently (Larson & Draper, n.d.).
