It probably is no secret that bullying isn’t an issue that affects few. This is a social issue that affects millions and millions of people all over the world. Point blank, no one is going through bullying alone. But what does bullying exactly look like. Sure it’s been portrayed in television and movies and you read the definition in a pamphlet is the school counselor’s office. But what does it look like?

The truth is, that it can be a very different situation for me than it can be for you. Bullying comes in so many forms.

It’s physical, emotional, and due to modern technology even cyber. Bullying is more than just getting your lunch money taken, or getting shoved into a locker.

The Avatar: This is the person who says whatever they please from behind a computer screen.

The Big Cheese: This is the person who bullies to feel powerful or better about themselves. Tearing others down makes this person feel good.

The Frenemy: The friend of yours who fits into any category listed above. The friend who makes you feel like absolute crap.

The Gossip Columnists: The people who talk about someone behind their back in a negative way. Often the gossip material is false. Stems from boredom.

Let’s Get Physical: The bully who wants to hurt you physically rather than mentally.

The Parrot: This is the bully who feels it is necessary to join in because they hear others attacking the person being bullied.

The Picker: This is the bully who picks apart your physical appearance.

*HINT (they are only picking apart the physical appearance because they can’t find anything to bash someone about)

The Self Bully: This is the person who is always bullying
