Falling into Place Over 3.2 million students are victims of bullying each year. Approximately 160,000 teens skip school every day because of bullying. Hollister’s handbook needs to be changed in the bullying section. I personally think they need to change it to make it more student and teacher friendly. They need to make it more student and teacher friendly because a lot of bullying still occurs in this school.

Step one to doing that is by making sure school rules and policies, are consistent with state laws. You can also include school staff, parents, and students when developing rules and policies. Giving students a role in making them can help them set their own responsibility. Parental involvement can reinforce the assurance the safety of their kid aswell[2]. All students have the right to an educational atmosphere that is free from verbal and/or physical abuse.
