Freedom is the power that allows people to self-determine his or her ideas, it allows people to have the right to act, speak or think without being restraint. The reality of freedom is how individuals see their freedom; for instance, Dr. King got locked in jail for describing his freedom, but others define his freedom differently. Individuals choices, how they want to establish their freedom. One’s person freedom could be someone’s prison. Although people defined that freedom is having unrestricted rights, but limitation create true freedom since it spreads equality to everyone.
Freedom is the power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint. The foundation of America is freedom. Freedom from Britain. However, the freedom is limited to white males who own property. When colonists started to immigrate to America, they wanted to escape from under the rule of Britain.
According to dictionary.com, freedom means “political or national independents”, but in reality it means much more than that. During the revolutionary war, four thousand four hundred and thirty-five lives were lost in order to gain independence and freedom for all Americans. I believe that freedom means that people can express themselves however they want and that they can make decisions for themselves. I think that this is true because people can choose their religion, have the freedom of speech, and can stand up for what they believe is right. Freedom of religion was part of the First Amendment to the Declaration of Independence, which means that people are able to choose their religion and can freely worship.
Webster Dictionary defines freedom as a “political right”. To me, freedom is much more than that. Freedom gives me and the people of America the right to do anything we want; it allows us to be ourselves no matter where you come from, or who you are. Unfortunately, America has not always been this way; people of different races were treated like trash on the sidewalk. Frederick Douglass had a first-hand experience to this treatment, and he knew what it was like before America allowed everyone to actually be “free”.
Free-dom [free-duhm] n. 1. The state or quality of being free; a) being able to act, move, use, etc. without hindrance or restraint, confinement or repression. When I think of freedom, I think of everything I take for granted in my life as an American. From our ability to voice our own opinion without the fear of being punished, deciding to practice our choice of religion, which, in many countries would not even be an option.
Freedom means to do anything one want to do, but one can’t do anything against the law. For example, one can wear whatever clothes he or she wants. One can go to any school he or she desires. I’m happy about my freedom to use the internet. I’m also happy that I can wear whatever I want without being questioned or judged.
Freedom is the ability to do whatever one wants without restraint. Many people in our country take freedom for granted, while many suffer from the lack of freedom in other countries. Freedom is when you choose all of your actions, which is what was meant for everyone. Making choices of your own is how you learn and grow. When you are in a position without freedom, somebody withholds it.
What Freedom Means to Me By Yascha Day What freedom means to me is that I can roam the streets freely and happily. I think that I can be in the USA without the fear of losing my freedom and being sold into slavery like they did even a couple hundred years ago. I am glad for my freedom and safety.
Freedom is what every human being strives for. To have the mindset to choose for themselves where it does not violate anyone else's freedom. The Bill of Rights guarantees many freedoms, such as the freedom of speech. Freedom is not just about what society wants us to believe but how it affects teens growing into adulthood, or the mere fact of self-control and how do we as a people desire to change the outcome.
Would mean that that's not true freedom. So, in my view, freedom is not to be definition. However, I know that freedom in terms of concrete it is. There are many aspects of freedom such as the freedom of speech, freedom of action, expression in the political freedom of religion. Freedom in every aspect that was mentioned above.
Freedom. You hear about it everywhere. On the news, blaring off of the tv, and in ordinary people’s conversations. With all this constant discussion and argument, you may think how free even are we and what even is freedom? Looking deeper into it, you can definitely see that while everyone has at least a smidgen of freedom, which can vary in amount, absolutely no one can ever be one hundred percent free.
Freedom is something people don?t really take into consideration sometimes. They don?t understand the rights we have and how lucky we are to have the privilege to have rights. A lot of people tend to take advantage of their freedom and act out in certain ways. Freedom is the right to speak your mind and what you believe. Some people don?t get the rights that others have because they get them taken away from them by making bad decisions.

This is a very broad explanation of this very complex word. We are left without knowing when we are experiencing freedom.
What is freedom? Is it an absolute right or is it something we can live without it? People born to be free. Throughout history freedom defined differently according to different cultures and different period of time. Freedom shows an alteration cultures to culture.
