Today many people are part of different regions that many years ago were not offered, and as time goes by new religions and beliefs come about. Around the world there are many different religions that have many different beliefs, but there are also some religions that share similar beliefs like the Jewish, Christians, and the Islamic beliefs that even though have many differences they still share the some similarities like their holy books, and their rules to their religion. One similarity between the Jewish, Christian, and Islamic beliefs is what they consider to be their holy books. The Islam religion has the Quran which to them “the Quran is at the center of their religion because it reflects the recitation of God’s words to Muhammad” (DiYanni). This book is important to them because to them Muhammad was the one who proclaimed the Islamic religion, and to them Muhammad is like a prophet who had a very close contact with God.
Since Judaism did not develop within a religious "vacuum", but formed a foundation for others, links arise between Judaism and neighboring regions. For instance, Christianity, Judaism and Islam all share beliefs in a monotheistic God and believe that this God is the origin of all that exists. In all of these religions humans are viewed as the children of Abraham, yet each religion gives their own individual meaning to this common man. Abraham is perceived to be the first Patriarch of the Jewish people. While in the Bible he and his son are said to be the founding fathers of the Arabic people and The Koran claims yet a different outlook, that Islam was not a new religion but a continuance of Abraham’s original religion.
The amalgamation of theology Despite the differing individual aspects of Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and Islam, there are significant similarities between these major religions of the world. The initial premise will argue that most differing religions share the belief of an afterlife/immortality of the soul, follow a universal set of morals and pray to a God/s. Premise two will argue that if most different religions have many similarities, then they summarise into the same principle of a human’s fundamental desire for eternal joy and happiness, to reach the conclusion that the major religions of the world are not radically different. Contrastingly, opposing arguers state that Buddhism is another common religion that differs as its followers possess agnostic/atheistic beliefs and that Jewish people did not believe
Within Christianity, Judaism, and Islam they all believed that God created the universe. All three of these religions are Abrahamic religions meaning they do worships the same God, though they do believe differently in how Jesus is portrayed. To Christians, Jesus was the messiah and son of God. However, in Judaism, Jesus is not believed to be the messiah nor the son of God. Finally, Muslims believed Jesus to be a prophet, but disbelieve in his resurrection.
Regardless of the differences between religions, their similarities overpower them. Take for example the world’s five major faiths; Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. All faiths have the idea of there being a god or at least a higher power. When considering Hinduism and Buddhism, both share similar ideas of what salvation is and how to reach it. Judaism and Christianity also have alike key writings and related practices & beliefs.
These two religions both originating from the middle easthave many common characteristics, and many differences. The two largest religions in the world, Islam and Christianity, have many common characteristics. One of the more obvious similaritiesis that they are both monotheisticreligions. Islamhas one God who they refer to as Allah, and Christianity has one God who they refer to as Yahweh(North American

In these five religions Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism there are many differences but they have many similarities. There are many similarities but we will only talk about a certain few. Some of the similarities are all religions have a “leader”, holy books, and they all have their own symbol. All of these religions have similarities as I listed above. In the following paragraphs we will talk about the similarities that I have listed above.
Christianity and Islam, two of the most popular religions in the world, have similarities and differences in the areas involving God, salvation, and biblical views. Some say Islam and Christianity’s concept beliefs are basically the same. However, these three main differences are the exact reason why they could never go hand in hand. Allah. God.
When talking about the similarities between Islam, Judaism and Christianity lets first look at where they get their teachings. While they all have separate Holy books like the Bible, Quran and Torah, all of these share the old testament. This also means they all believe that they all come from Abraham and his sons Ishmael and Isaac. They all believe in God, however have different views and names for him. They all three believe in some form of afterlife.
Judaism, Christian, and islam are the many religions with many things that are alike as well as different. In many ways these religions are the same but also different at the same time. They my have their own beliefs but in the end these religions are following the same God and same beliefs. As for judaism is one of many monotheistic religions just like Christianity and Judaism.
Christianity and Islam are two of the largest religions in the world today, and they both vary in so many ways, but are still practiced by many. These religions have different ideas about God, destiny, faith, sin, holiness, heaven, and hell. One thing they have in common is that they are both theistic religions. Christianity compared to Islam believes in a monotheistic God, the trinity, the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. While Islam religion rely on a monolithic God, there is no other.
Between the three major religions Christianity, Judaism, and Islam we can spot many differences, but also we can find many similarities between them. The major similarity I found through my research is the the three religions are centered around believing in one almighty God. Moreover, they all teach people to do good. Other similarities I found were Christianity, Judaism, and Islam all have houses of worship (church, temple, and mosque). Also, they all have clergies that teach and guide people the right way to believe they are called presties for christians, rabbis for jews , and imams for muslims.
Religious Paper The religions Christianity and Judaism have many common beliefs such as the belief that there is only one God. Some basic beliefs of the Christianity religion are that God knows all things, God is present everywhere, God is all powerful, God is the creator of everything that exists, and God is infinite/eternal. Some basic beliefs of the Judaism religion are that God is eternal, prayer is to be directed to God alone and to no other, God will reward the good and punish the wicked, and the dead will be resurrected.
Christianity and Islam share many similarities with a few fundamental differences. Both religions follow monotheism, though in Islam it is much stricter. Jesus and Gabriel are focal points for Christianity and Islam respectively. God and Allah stand for the same higher power and basis for religion. In Islam, the five pillars are the main difference just as Mary is the mother of Jesus and the beginning of the Christian religions teachings.
