Parents should be two people who love a care for their children, however some either have problems that can lead them to being less careless. Disciplining children should help them learn right from wrong, however abusing their own children makes them fear their own parent.

As a result of this, some parents do not know the difference between discipline and abuse. Families more at risk of abuse are when a child is “socially isolated, when the family is poor, when the family has a history background of drug or alcohol abuse, and even violence.” (Incidence of Child Abuse). Children that are abused usually have marks on them either they are bruises, are usually signs of abuse. Other signs are kids who act out or kids who bully other kids. (Fort Wayne, In) However the cycle of abuse can be continuous or can be broken. Children grown up in a dysfunctional family are more than likely to end up the same way as their parents.
