Continuing a trend of performing a discourse community study, the gaming aspect of a community is one not a lot of people know about and how they bond, but performing a study on this community we are able to identify what makes this club so attractive for people who do play games. Discourse communities will demonstrate to readers how the group being studied communicates, bonds, sorts’ leadership, and achieves specific gaming goals only people within the club compared to gaming people who do not attend club meetings. It was all about the love for gaming and the comradery that was created amongst the players. The gamers play consistently even outside of club meetings to improve skill level. Further, the club allows people to step away from communicating with words, and transitions to speaking with their gaming skills. As a result, it improves their rank and they make friends along the way. I watch professionals and the tournaments where people get paid for a living to play the game. Also, I also look up online strategies and statistics about the game to improve my own skill level. Over time, the growth will show, but learning can take a tremendous amount of time. After I begin to improve, I’m able to watch others play and inform them on what they are doing wrong.

3. Noting that you don’t have much time left in the club, how are you going to know that the next leader has the same qualities or same mindset as you? Honestly you can’t be sure that they will have the same qualities as you, but you can hope to the fullest that when you’re gone that member has the same passion to help people, play the game, and run the club. Hopefully, the club leader will step up and succeed in helping players in a positive way. My hope is for the current club members to choose someone that fits the leadership criteria that I feel my club leadership role has demonstrated.
