Several different barriers resulted in doctors having difficulty in communicating with these patients, for example, language and medical interpretation difficulty, doctors lack of understanding about the patients culture and beliefs, and lastly cultural beliefs influencing the patients decision. Translating medical terms into another language or in simpler terms does not represent the most accurate meaning and can lead to misunderstandings which can confuse the situation. This can cause frustration for the patient and can make it challenging for the doctors or healthcare professionals to remain composed. Therefore, teamwork, effective communication, and cultural understanding are essential for providing high levels of care and ensuring a positive service user experience. Part B: Reflect on your experience of collaborating with a team during social responsibility activities and explain how you can apply this in your clinical practice. I plan to review and evaluate my experience whilst working as part of a team to fulfil my selected social responsibility tasks. Whilst performing and preparing for the task I was able to explore the purpose behind team working and the rewarding feeling I was welcomed with upon completion of the task.
