I have always been a pretty self sufficient and determined individual. I started my own lawn care business when I was 12. I was surprisingly successful, for being so young. I started out with only one customer, my neighbor. Then, through recommendations I received more and more customers.

I was stubborn, to say the least, when the surgeon who worked on my hand told me that I would more than likely not be able to return to the work that I had been trained to do. He informed me that I had several months of physical therapy ahead of me before we would have any real answers, so I was not to try and do any more than instructed for the next six months to a year.
