Throughout the years there has been a lot of evidence supporting the idea that Simulated violent video games are not problematic to are young teens. I feel that a portion of these simulated violent video games are problematic to are young teens. Playing simulated violent video games take up mass amounts of young teens time that they could spend doing more productive things like doing homework. For example, from the article “Do Games Like ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Cause Real-World Violence” by Erik Kain, Forbes Magazine. Say’s “friend saying that he would watch on a life size screen these violent video games for hours and hours and hours and hours and hours.” This shows that young teens could spend their time more productively because, when his friend is spending all this time playing video games he could spend time doing; homework or chores. This shows that simulated violent video games can increase aggression and violence because, there have been studies that show simulated violent video games increase aggression. Another example of this is from the article “It's A Duel: How Do Violent Video Games Affect Kids?” by Shankar Vedantam say’s, "Everybody was more aggressive if they'd played a violent game than if they'd played a nonviolent game, and the more numb they were, the more aggressive they were in terms of blasting their opponent with loud noise through headphones.” This shows that playing simulated violent video hames increases agression because, when kids played more violent video games they showed more signs of
