Is Exposing our Kids to Violence going to make them do Violence too?
Exposing children to violent movies doesn't make them want to do violence because their conscience tells them what is right from wrong. Your parents or guardians can mentor you about the consequences seriously when you use violence in real life, and and let you still watch some movies with a little bit of violence because you know the right from wrong. You alter the positive. The people you hang around can lead you to some bad decisions, like teaching you lying is okay; when watching violent movies it can blur out reality and fantasy and cause violence, anger, and aggression. Exposing kids to violence doesn't cause them to do violence. In an article called, “Violence in the Movies” is about how movies influence kids to be violent.

The author expresses in the article: “According to the…(CDC), risk factors for youth violence include history of early aggressive behavior, exposure to violence in the family, low parental involvement…”(31, paragraph 16).CDC has stated about how watching movies with violence doesn't cause you, because it usually is what happens in early life that causes you to do violence. However, some may say that kids are being exposed to high levels of violence through movies, Television, and books. The author states, “‘The typical American child will view more 200,000 acts of violence, including more 16,000 murders, before age 18.’”(29, paragraph 4). This shows that what we watch and hear influences internally and externally(29, paragraph 4). However, the U.S. Bureau of Justice Statistics said, “...crime rates have dropped steadily 1993, when 80 of every 1,000 people reported being victims of violent crime. The homicide rate declined 48% from 1993 to 2011.”(Page 32, paragraph 18). This proves that we as humans have improved and violence encounter has improved and we therefore are less violent than people
