Education Philosophy
My education philosophy says that I want to help my students to become responsible citizens in their community. My social studies unit on needs and wants helps outlines this basic concept. Students learn what is necessary to live and function in their society. Students learned that “wants” could only be met after all your “needs” have been provided. The National Health Content Standards says students should be able to demonstrate the ability to practice health-enhancing behaviors and reduce health risks.
