INTRODUCTION
Education for education sake, is no more an acceptable proposition in the modern society. The meaning of education has always being changed with the changing time periods. In earlier times, the education was mainly focused on cognitive domain. But now-a-days, it aims at overall development of physical, intellectual, aesthetic, social and spiritual powers of human beings. It has only to be purposeful and demonstrate usefulness not just to the individual and the community but to the nation and the world at large. Education plays an important role in shaping an individual’s career. The level of education helps people to earn recognition and respect in the society. Undoubtedly education is both socially & personally an indispensable part of human life. Education is not all about studying and getting good marks. It is really a means to discover new things which we don 't know about and increase our knowledge. An educated person has the ability to differentiate between right and wrong or good and evil. It is the foremost responsibility of a society to educate its citizens. A person becomes perfect with education as he is not only gaining something from it, but also contributing to the growth of a nation. The importance of education is our life cannot be ignored at any cost. Education is the only way to get knowledge. Better education can make a person more civilized and useful for the society. One cannot image a prosperous life without appropriate education.
