Education is known to be a path to safe and successful future. Education could be beneficial, but could also prove crucial if not taken seriously. It plays a huge role in our daily active life. Some of them are Paperworks, Jobs, Driver licence and etc. But NCAA only concerns are how college athletes do on field, Ignoring their education levels. Instead of putting majority of their effort on College athletes study level, NCAA are more focused towards income coming through athletes and leading them to a hopeless life after their playing career.

NCAA assures athletes with privileges and Money during their time with them. Although this may be true but Colleges athletes’ Education levels are still suffering and could prove devastating for their upcoming future plans. From the Article “CNN analysis: Some college athletes play like adults, read like 5th-graders” by Sara Ganim states that most schools have between 7% to 18% of sports athletes that are reading at the Elementary school level and also several of them scores 200 to 300 on their SAT. But in Reality, Teachers are being paid for classes with no students showing up and help out week ones by going easy on their grading scale. The Article “UNC will investigate claims over athletes’ reading ability” by Sara Ganim claims that UNC’s internal investigation found out that many athletes were enrolled in classes where minor work was required to pass. Additionally, it is also confirmed that a former professor accepted money for teaching the classes called “No show classes”. Students mostly learn through their mistakes but if students wouldn’t know then they are intend to make the same mistake again and while no one else is going to be around to correct them.
